What is FedWeb?

Simply put, FedWeb is a CMS (content management system) where you can build your website. JFNA created this proprietary web platform. in conjunction with the Federations. FedWeb allows Federations to have their own unique web presence, while also allowing for content created by JFNA to be shared.

Do I need to know how to code to use FedWeb?

FedWeb offers an easy to use page builder with Live Preview that requires no coding knowledge.

I like to code - can I do that on FedWeb?

FedWeb offers design flexibility and access to CSS, JavaScript, and HTML.

What other features do you offer?

  • Robust calendar functionality
  • Blogs
  • Career & Volunteer Centers
  • Community Directory
  • Social Media Tools
  • Integrated Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Seamless Google Analytics integration

FedWeb offers dynamic content which means that you can set up automatic updates of your newest blog posts, events, job posts and more - wherever you want them to appear.

Integrated content  is also a feature; you can pull content from your sections to speed up your workflow. For example, when you are creating an event on your calendar, you can automatically pull the contact information for an organization from your community directory, saving time and effort.

Password protected content – create pages that are only accessible to users with a login, such as a board members page, where you can store important resources and meeting minutes on your site without public access.

Unlimited mini-sites – create sites that are separate and unique from the main site but still connected, allowing for shared content.

Custom user permissions – reduce the administrative burden by allowing varying levels of fully moderated site-editing access to staff members and community partners.

What about hosting and security?

Fees for SSL and site hosting on AWS are included in your FedWeb fees. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available for additional security. FedWeb can also assist with managing your DNS.
